Job Description: A member is a unpaid volunteer who wishes to add their voice, support and friendship to others in social and group settings. Particularly HIV Positive persons and their partners, spouses or care-taker/friends are invited to come and participate in our monthly group setting and meeting called the Positive Support Group. To become a member of the group and attend our free Monthly Group Chat Sessions, please simply email support@positive-support.org or watch the website and come to the Monthly Chat sessions. We reserve the right as a social organization to accept, reject or terminate any member without notice or without reason up to and until our by-laws and corporation status is achieved.

 

Peer to Peer Mentor

Job Description: A Peer Mentor is a unpaid volunteer member. Members in good standing who wish to become trained Peer Mentors for the PSA and be assigned newly diagnosed persons or others requiring their mentorship and experience are encouraged to apply. Basic training will be provided to each peer mentor who is pick. The Mentor and the PSA Mentorship Board will work with each other to be matched and assigned newly diagnosed individuals, who may be straight, gay, male or female or of any ethnicity.

Executive Board Member Oregon, SW Washington Chapter

All Board Positions are all currently filled at this time, however, we are seeking members and peer mentors in the Portland, SW Washington Metro Area.

Job Description: An Executive Board member may be a HIV Positive Member of the Community and should reside in Clark, Multnomah or Washington County.

Board Members serve in an unpaid, non compensatory fashion.

We reserve the right as a social organization to accept, reject or terminate any member without notice or without reason up to and until our by-laws and corporation status is achieved.

 

Free to join, but must make most meetings and help on selected service events,

not to exceed a few per year.

 

We are looking for active members in the Portland, Oregon SW Washington area at this time.
